A flatwork ironer’s padding has two jobs: carry the linen through the roll evenly, and maintain perfect roll-to-chest contact as the textile cover wears down. Our system solves both — with a service life of 4–5 years on the springs, and only the textile cover needing routine replacement in between.
A continuous wire formed into side-by-side springs on a metal strip, spiralled onto the existing ironer roll. Two turns of standard needled textile sit on top.
When the textile cover wears, you replace only the textile — a cheaper, thinner, easier job that any ironer technician can complete. The springs stay in place for 4–5 years on a single install, keeping your roll at constant diameter and constant contact pressure across the full service interval.
